Our New Apt. In Va
When you walk in through the door, this is what you would first see. Our living room.
The Dinning Room.
Our O So Comfy couch.
I really like my kitchen. Obviously I am going for Yellow and Green for it.
Yes, watching Millionaire match-maker.
I love all the windows, it brings so much light.
My Bathroom, I had extra curtains and no color shower curtain so I put my curtains in the bathroom. Totally worked out great.

Virginia Living
Our first state we stop by
We took pics on the Mississippi River
We took pics on the Mississippi River Well we have moved to Virginia. I really like it here. Jeff has a nice schedule were he works from 7 to 4 every day. That stops when he comes back from California.
The trip here wasn’t bad. We took pictures through most of the states. Sammie is in all of them. Sammie had a better time getting over here then he had the first time we moved to Texas. He is used to it now. He knows what the Boxes mean. To him he realizes “the never ending car ride is not far behind.” He likes the new places. I can tell he would like a yard to run around in, but I try to take him out and find places for him to run around. His daily task consist of sleeping, morning walk, eating, sun bathing on the patio, then inside while mom and dad are gone, playing with his new toys, sleeping, evening walk and dinner. So Jeff and I decided he has a very easy life. Virginia
We moved into a 1 bed room 1 bathroom apartment. It is perfect size for the three of us. We live on the floor. That is the part that sucks the most. I wish we got maybe 2nd floor, but I guess by the time we move out of this place my butt will be nice and firm. We have been all over the place here. Lauren (my friend from back home) came into town and stayed with us for a week. We went to Yorktown, Jamestown, Williamsburg, D.C, Richmond; a lot of sightseeing. It was fun to see the History of our country.
Well I guess that is the gist on this post I will post another one off Jeff’s trip with the youth.

Moving from Texas to Virginia. When is it going to happen.
So much is going on.
Jeff graduated from Tech school, and that was such a relief. Now we are just waiting to go to Virginia.
Here is the problem; we have been waiting for his orders to come in. They gave us this medical paper work that makes a month to process and fill out, only a month before we are supposed to leave. It has been difficult getting old medical records, doctor’s appointments schedule and getting paper work sign and sent. I have been to the medical clinic so many times in the last three weeks the girls at the front desk know me by name.
We are both so frustrated. Each time I go in the Sergeant in charge, says “Next Monday” then on Monday, “oh, by Thursday.” On Thursday they say, “Next Tuesday.” I have been getting the run around, nonstop and it is to the point where we can do nothing about. We have to just wait. We already have a place in Virginia to move into, but we can’t leave out current location without orders. Now we are on a weekend holiday and everything is on hold till Tuesday. It is very over whelming. We are trying to figure out what we can do to make the situation easier. We have a few ideas:
1) Me going out there before him. Sammie and Him drive out there together.
2) Sammie and I fly out and wait for the movers, and he goes out there.
3) Put stuff in storage and have movers pick it up, while Jeff and I move out. Have Elie (our friend) sign for our things.
It has been so crazy.

Me with dog, cat, mouse and broom.
Tonight has been insane! I feel I am in a home full of craziness. I lived in Hawaii for about 4 months and while there lived with rats, mice, cockroaches, centipedes, bed bugs, etc. I am not a dirty person. I could keep better up with my laundry, but over all I clean me house well. In Hawaii that was just the way it is, being on an island. I didn’t think Texas would be like that.
So Sammie and I are just doing our Friday night routine of watching movies waiting for Jeff to come home. I was making some goodies, and in my kitchen run a mouse from the trashcan cabinet to the refrigerator. I freaked out. I tried to get Sammie to go in the kitchen and find the mouse, but I have trained the dog so well to not go in the kitchen that every time I tried to push him in there, he ran off. So I decided Sammie is a chicken.
So my friend Natalie is watching a fellow friend’s cat, while they are out of town. I texted her saying, “I have a mouse, I should barrow that cat.” So I did. Now I had to introduce Sammie to cat and Cat to Sammie. Not a pretty sight that took a good 30 minutes of hissing from the cats end. Sammie was so whatever about it all. He just wanted to smell the cat and then go on his marry way.
So in my house I have a dog, cat, and mouse. I left Sammie in the living room and the cat and I went into the kitchen trying to get the mouse to come out. I took my broom and put it under the stove brushing around and then got it STUCK under the stove. So beside my house of animals, I don’t have a broom either. I can’t wait till Jeff gets home at 4 in the morning. He won’t know what to do with me and the mess I made. AGGGG! Help the crazy insane person. ME!

A struggle and a blessing...
My Struggle with Scripture Study
Scripture study has been hard for me. I am a slow reader, unless it was the twilight books, I know pathetic, but I have been having a difficult time figuring out when to study and what to study. It is hard for me just to sit down a read. It was hard on my mission and it is still difficult now. So this weekend before stake Conference, I wrote down two questions, one of them being, “how to magnify my time more effectively.” We were blessed to hear from President Monson. How amazing is that! While I was listening, I kept hearing in my head, “Preach my Gospel.” I heard it over and over. Then I wrote it down.
The spirit taught me, I study best when I have something to guide me. I realized the best way for me to continue studying the scriptures was to use Preach My Gospel. So I began last night, and it was AMAZING! I am starting in Chapter 3, lesson 1. I am going to go through all the lessons, and use only my Book of Mormon first, then go back through and do it again, only using my Bible. It feels so great! I also realized I need to do it, before I come down stairs and start my day. Once Sammie sees I am up, it is over, ( I swear he is preparing me for having a child, but a modified version) So I am keeping my Scriptures, journal and PMG next to my bed and read from them each morning and or night.
The Blessings of Tithing:
Ever since I was a little girl and learned about tithing, I have always paid. It became second nature to me. That is a blessing. But my eyes were greatly open this past week. Many people have been reimbursed for their move to San Angelo and they have been given a DLA, which is for moving a spouse out to your station post. It is an extra HUGE chunk of money. It has been very frustrating, becomes no matter how many times Jeff and I have gone to talk to the Family Readiness Center, of The Travel office, or the Finical office everyone says we can’t get reimbursed. No money for us. It sucks.
Jeff and I have been looking at each other and say, “We have a roof over our head, food in our kitchen, and money to pay the bills. We have all we need. We are blessed.”
Well last month, we were given some money as a gift from a family member and it was perfect in time. It helped us and we didn’t even know we need the money till after it came. Then this month, Jeff and I went in again to the financial office, and tried to get the DLA. The man said, no, but he said we can get a travel voucher. So this month we are being blessed again with a little extra in the bank.
We are really trying to save, money for our future. We are trying to do what the Prophets have asked of us. Have money in savings and stay out of debt, and pay your tithing. I have always had a testimony in tithing, but until this week, I never noticed how really blessed Jeff and I are that we are able to have so many great things in our lives.

This is my Sammie Love. Oh how cute he is. He keeps me company when daddy is at work and gone. He goes everywhere with me.

This is daddy and him sleeping together on the bed.
Playing fetch in the morning.
Some of the youth.
This is the Cemetery next to the Temple.
So he wanted to go into the home, but wasn't able to because it is private owned home.

The bedroom.

This is Clyde with Sammie in the back seat. It is Marshal and Elie's doggie that is staying with His parents in North Carolina. He is so sweet. Sammie and Him got along great.
